Hitakami Nakadori Hyotan Junmai Daiginjo Black - 720ml
Hitakami Nakadori Hyotan is an exceptional sake crafted by Hirakou Shuzo in Ishinomaki, Miyagi Prefecture. This Junmai Daiginjo is made from Toku-A grade Yamada Nishiki rice sourced from Hyogo's renowned Toujo District, polished to 40%. It utilizes the prized Nakadori (middle) pressing, known for its delicate and elegant flavor. Bottled undiluted as a Genshu, it boasts a bold 16.5% ABV. The aroma features ripe apple, steamed rice, chestnut, lychee, and fresh grass, while the palate is assertive with sharpness, ample acidity, and a complex, savory finish. Limited to just 2,000 bottles annually, it's presented in a distinctive black gourd-shaped bottle.
